The Altstadt Palace was the most spectacular building on Kolovraty and the official residence of Duke Josef Sheridan. First built in 2673 when the system was part of the Rim Worlds Republic, the building was a close copy of the Hofburg Palace found in Vienna, Austria on Old Earth. The ruler of Kolovraty at the time had wanted something beautiful and grand, and had looked to the distant past for inspiration.
